Hardware Design
RF Interface: Side-mount SMA connector supports external high-gain antennas with low insertion loss. SMA pads also support soldering a specially designed PCB antenna for cost-effective, high-performance operation.
Thermal Management: Exposed copper on the module bottom for enhanced heat dissipation.
Flexible I/O: 3-side half-hole footprint with configurable UART, SPI, I2C, and PWM interfaces for easy secondary development.
RF Architecture: DW1000 → Balun → SPDT switches → 2-stage PA + LNA → SMA antenna; BLE chain with IPEX antenna option.
Applications
