TE / Raychem 462A011-12-0 HEAT SHRINK BOOT in stock
The Raychem 462A011-12-0 is a high-performance, Y-shaped heat shrink transition boot designed for rugged cable branching. Specifically engineered for 1-to-3 cable splits, this boot provides critical environmental sealing and mechanical strain relief in high-temperature environments.

Key Technical Specifications
| Feature | Detail |

| Operating Temp | -55 °C to +200 °C |
| Configuration | Y-Shape (1 Main, 3 Branch Feet) |
| Shrink Ratio | Approx. 2.5:1 (Main) |
| Adhesive | No (Suffix -0 indicates non-sealing/no adhesive) |
Critical Dimensions (mm)
To ensure a proper fit for your cable harness, refer to the expansion and contraction limits below:
·Main Tube: Expands to ≈ 25mm, shrinks to ≈ 8mm.
·Branch Feet: Expands to ≈ 12 mm, shrinks to ≈ 3mm.
·Total Length: ≈ 95 mm.
Installation & Shrinkage Procedure
For optimal performance and a secure fit, follow these processing conditions:
⒈Heat Source: Use a professional-grade hot air gun.
⒉Temperature Setting: Set between 175°C and 200°C.
⒊Process Time: Total shrinkage typically occurs within 3 to 5 minutes.
4.Pro-Tip: If environmental sealing is required, apply a compatible Raychem adhesive (like S1125) before shrinking, as the "-12-0" variant does not come pre-coated.
Industrial Applications
Because of its Modified Fluoroelastomer base, the 462A011-12-0 is ideal for:
·Aerospace & Defense: Military-grade cable harnesses requiring fluid resistance.
·Marine & Rail: Protection against oils, fuels, and ozone.
·High-Heat Zones: Engine compartments or industrial traction motors.
